I’ve long since noted that the LGBT community is more about the LG than the BT. In fact, many bisexual people will agree that some members of the gay community are quick to write off bisexuals as “half-breeders,” with breeders referring to straight people. But, since the LGBT is considered to be left-wing their intolerance is okay. Let’s not have an honest discussion about the racism in the gay community or the prejudice against straight people or that bisexuals apparently aren’t gay enough.
Since I’m a college student and battle liberal professors everyday, I’m going to post these two videos from Liberal Education that feature liberal professors caught on tape.
I’d like to touch on the second video in which a professor talks about the “American Dream.” She says that there is a myth perpetuated that America is a “classless society” and that people cannot go from poor to rich. This is the typical liberal mantra. I have heard it in anthropology and sociology in which professors will ask students if the American Dream really is reality. Often, professors will say that not everybody can become rich, which is apparently evidence that the American Dream is false, though they ignore that basic economics will tell you that not everybody can be rich due to scarcity of resources. In fact, scarcity of resources is essential to why socialism and communism have never worked, in fact, these ideologies have made people equally poor. In fact, this view that America is a class society is perpetuated in films shown to students and is called conflict theory in sociology and is undeniably Marxist in its logic.
In fact, here is a sociology professor’s Powerpoint slides on the social class and the American Dream:
Here, the teacher shows “distribution of wealth of Americans.” Obviously, since the wealthiest own the most there should be redistribution of wealth.

Here we see that health care is a “resource necessary for material well-being.”
Paraphrasing Andy Levy: If healthcare is a right, then how can the government deny anyone any care they want or need? Also, I’d like to add, if healthcare is a right then why is Obama’s health plan not really kicking in until 4 years?
Here, the teacher knocks the functionalist perspective in sociology (because clearly the Marxist conflict theory is where it’s at), and features a cartoon by liberal and Howard Zinn supporter Kirk Anderson.
In the next slide, the teacher includes a video of “The Way We Live: Ups and Downs of Social Stratification.” The clip is part of a series that is a “comprehensive introduction to Sociology.”
“Ups and Downs of Social Stratification,” which is part nine, is described as:
9. Ups and Downs: Social Stratification
Since the 1950s when opportunity reached its peak, the gap between the “haves and have nots” has grown. This lesson looks at social stratification and the dimensions of social inequality that exist in the United States. Factors that contribute to stratification are discussed, including race, gender, education, income level, and changes in the workplace.
Clearly. Not. Biased. At. All. Also, viewers of Michael Moore’s Capitalism: A Love Story will realize that the description is very similar to Moore’s narrative in said documentary.
And here is the preview slide to the showing of Michael Moore’s Capitalism: A Love Story
The full Powerpoint can be found here.

Liberal Educators Talking Points
Richard A. Middleton pathetically tried to dismiss claims of bias by saying that Barbara Geerdes was merely trying “to spark discussion among her students about political philosophies and bias…” I criticized this in my post as simply Middleton covering Geerdes’ biased ass.
That defense was used before in Denver where a liberal English professor had his students write a critical piece on Sarah Palin.
Here’s the TV report:
The spokeswoman in the YouTube video had this to say:
What the faculty’s responsibility is is to provide an opportunity for critical thinking and also civic engagement, so bringing something of relevancy into the classroom was the faculty member’s goal. Should he have broadened it and included all of the political figures? Yes
Again, as the spokeswoman touches on, how is a one-sided essay going to promote civic engagement and critical thinking? True, conservative students would be forced to be critical of Palin, but liberal students would bask in their bashing of Palin, which doesn’t challenge their own views at all. If the teacher truly wanted a discussion he would have students write about any politician or have his students write two essays each of which include a hot topic politician from each side.
The teacher had other charges against him with students saying he cussed out Republicans and said one of his favorite activities was Bush bashing. Sounds like a talking point to cover for professors who lack critical thinking and objectivity skills.
‘Bout time we embrace it
Andrew Breitbart posted this gem a few days ago:
If we embrace the teabagger moniker, it will be interesting to see how the left will react.
Cover the tracks
The North East Independent School District Superintendent, Richard A. Middleton, has replied to the incident in Texas in which a teacher that passed out a clearly biased handout in her government class.
TexasGOPVote has the whole letter, in which Middleton covers his ass explains away this simple misunderstanding. Middleton states:
The intent of the Roosevelt teacher was to use this document to spark discussion among her students about political philosophies and bias, but without clarification of that intention in the materials, it could be misconstrued as the teacher’s and District’s beliefs.
This would be true, but I posted a screenshot from the teacher’s class website that disproves this:
The document is titled “Comparative Definitions” and lists just that, a bunch of definitions, thus its intent was probably for students to learn the terms. What other reason could there be? Students do not debate whether or not definitions are biased, at least that isn’t what this documents seems to intend for. So why does there include a comment about conservatives being about the status quo, which directly matches what she wrote in her biased handout? Anyone who says that a comment about conservatives and status quo is not negative or biased is absolutely wrong, since this is a charge leveled against conservatives by talking points spouting lefties all the time. Short article about this here.
This teacher brought in this handout that, according to Middleton, was not a part of the curriculum, and showed it to her students. It looks like this teacher either wrote the handout herself or used it from an obviously biased source. Interestingly enough, if she did intend to “spark a discussion” why did she bring a handout that trashed conservatives and praised liberals? Why not bring in a handout that trashed and praised both? That would be a far more reaching and informative lesson than one that is based upon bashing conservatism.
Perhaps she is just interested in maintaing status quo?
UPDATE:
Here’s a screenshot from Richard A. Middleton’s Facebook:
He supports Gabe Quintanilla for Judge. Surprise, surprise: Quintanilla is a Democrat.
Crash the Crasher
Jason Levin, the man behind CrashTheTeaParty.org, is now on leave while his school investigates his actions. The CTTP site now offers this message to viewers:
The icon leads people to this page.
Problem is: Jason Levin is being disingenuous. His right to free speech is not being attacked, in fact, he is under investigation for several different reasons.
From Fox News:
The school district is defending Levin’s right to free speech, but it’s investigating whether he used district computers to spread his political message or worked on his “Crash the Tea Party” Web site during school hours.
In fact, Levin comes from a blue state, Oregon. The article touches on this:
A source within the district said parents at Conestoga did not initially appear upset at Levin’s anti-Tea Party activism — but that changed in recent days as controversial statements continued to emerge.
Now, the source said, parents have become outraged by the severity of his political activism, and many have told the school board members that it has no place in a public school system.
Parents supported teachers who wore Obama buttons during the 2008 presidential election, the source said. But they say Levin has crossed the line.
The school is looking into other misconduct as well:
In a now deleted post on his “Crash the Tea Party” Web site, he called on his supporters to collect the Social Security numbers — among other personal identifying information — about as many Tea Party supporters as possible at the numerous rallies that took place on Thursday, Tax Day.
“Some other thoughts are to ask people at the rally to sign a petition renouncing socialism. See just how much info you can get from these folks (name address, DOB, Social Security #). The more data we can mine from the Tea Partiers, the more mayhem we can cause with it!!!!” he wrote.
The state agency is investigating whether this is a hint at identity theft, and whether it is appropriate behavior for a public school teacher. It also will investigate charges that Levin used school computers during school hours to work on his Web site. Levin teaches 6th, 7th and 8th graders about computers and technology.
According to the school district laws regulating teacher conduct, which are posted online: “The Beavertown School District rules involving teacher use of the district’s electronic system clearly state: The district’s electronic communications system shall be used for educational purposes consistent with the district’s mission, priorities and beliefs. Educational purposes do not include commercial use, use for personal financial gain or political advocacy.”
Wanting Social Security numbers goes beyond free speech. It is violating a person’s identity, which is exactly why people would be correct in saying that Levin went too far. This would be no surprise, as the left always takes things too far.
Ever the narcissist?
The White House has chosen six schools as finalists in the Race to the Top High School Commencement, in which Obama will speak at the high school commencement ceremonies.
One of the schools is in Los Angeles, California. It is described as “green-themed ” and has an “environmental outreach program.” So was it chosen due to its pro-pseudo science global warming climate change stance? Or because it features an Obama mural?
Here’s the logo the school created to honor the occasion:
Isn’t that nice?
More private schools.

More on Barbara Geerdes:
No shocker that she is liberal, since she is a government employee after all. Link shows she has been teacher at Roosevelt High School in San Antonio, Texas since 2004 and makes $53,390.
Her class website can be found here.
She has a Word Document which shows her definition of the Conservative Party which reiterates the status quo comment:
Her biography states:
I am a native Texan and have lived in San Antonio since 1974. I have lived in the North East ISD for all of those 30-plus years, except for the four years I was attending college at Texas A & M University. I earned my degree in History from Texas A & M in 1993 and began teaching in 1994. I am married and have two wonderful children. In fact, I love to share stories about how funny and cute my kids are, so beware!
This year begins my sixteenth year of teaching (wow!), my sixth at Roosevelt. I am a card-carrying History/GoPo (Government & Politics) Nerd and manage to bring it in to everything I do and teach. I absolutely love the courses I teach and hope to spread some of the joy of Social Studies to my students.
Founding Bloggers is posting that one of the egg throwers at the Searchlight Rally could have been a man named Jesse Walker.
Jesse Walker is the Chairman of the Las Vegas IBEW Local 357. He even started a Facebook page for them:
They describe themselves as “the political arm [of the] local IBEW union.”
Jessie’s Facebook reveals more:
He is a member of the group “NEVADA TEA BAGGERS DON’T REPRESENT US! Counter-Rally in Searchlight 3/27” on Facebook.
Here’s the screen from a YouTube video to compare:
All evidence points to this being the guy.
More fun: Why does the aforementioned group have pictures that include the Tea Party rally right next to photos showing their small rally? Are they trying to make the appearance that they had a lot of people?
Photos (clockwise from the top left) 1, 2, 3, 8, and 9 are pictures from the Tea Party Rally. Similar photos can be found here and here.
